Required Ingredients 

  • Peeled and grated ginger root with 6 cm length.
  • Lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
  • Carbonated water ( 500 ml or 2 cups)
  • Powdered sweetener of 1 tbsp. or more, if you want to add.
  • Ice cubes
  • And mint leaves for decoration.


  • At first, you need to peel and grate the ginger.

Ingredients you will need 

  • Fresh Water 4 cups
  • Fresh Ginger 1 cup (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • Stevia Sweetener (1 cup)
  • 1 Lemon juice and grate the peel.
  • Soda water or Sparkling mineral water.

Time to make the diet ginger ale

  • Preparation time: 5 mins
  • Cooking Time: 20 mins
  • Chilling Time: 2 d
  • Total time: 25 mins



  • In a large saucepan, place the fresh water, grated ginger, grated lemon peel and sweetener.
  • Bring the mixer to the boil.
  • Lower the heat to medium.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Then remove from heat.
  • Let it cool completely.
  • Then, transfer it to a sealed container.
  • Chill it at the refrigerator for two or more days. Try at least two days. The longer chilling the better will be the taste.
  • After finishing chilling, add the Lemon Juice to the syrup.
  • Stir well.
  • Use a strainer. Pour the syrup through it. Remove the lump pieces.
  • Your syrup is ready.
